Resort Area Activities

Play Golf

Pine Ridge Golf Club is a beautiful 18-hole championship golf course located just across the road from the resort. Access is off of Hwy 10, a very short drive from the resort. It is one of the most affordable yet challenging courses you'll find in this area.

Horseback Riding

Outback Ranch is located in the beautiful Pillsbury State Forest just outside of Pillager! A 15 minute drive that is very scenic and beautiful.

Miniature Golf, Go-Carts, Waterparks

35 minutes from the resort in the Brainerd Lakes area are several attractions. Go-cart tracks, bumper boats, indoor and outdoor waterparks, and the always fun Pirate's Cove mini-golf course! Paul Bunyan Land and This Old Farm is a fun excursion for the entire family. Brainerd International Raceway and the Paul Bunyan Trail are landmarks in the Brainerd area.

Museum

Minnesota Military Museum on the grounds of Camp Ripley (15 minutes away) offers indoor exhibits as well as extensive outdoor displays of tanks, jeeps, aircrafts and other large equipment.

State Parks

Nature lovers will enjoy Crow Wing State Park, Pillsbury State Forest, Charles A. Lindberg State Park, and the Paul Bunyan Bike Trail as well as scenic country roads in the area.

Shopping and Antiques

Located just minutes from the resort in Motley are several antique stores. Always fun is a stop at The Trading Post and an ice cream cone from The Silo. Thistleberry is a very nice boutique that is fun to browse and located on Hwy 10 just south of the resort is a very fun and ever changing antique store.

Brainerd offers many shopping experiences from antiques, books and collectibles to Target, Kohl's, Costco, and Walmart.

Nisswa and Pequot Lakes are about 40 minutes away and are well worth the drive for the fun shops and flea markets on the weekends.
